Insufficient disk space in external storage

I'm trying to create a mirror synchronization on an external 4 TB HDD. Although the disk is almost empty, each time I try to create the mirror image I get the message: Insufficient Disk space, total file size: 787 MB, available disk space 46 MB... On the disk there are at least 2.5 TB free !!! Please help.

Interesting. What does Windows Explorer say about available disk space. Maybe it's only your user that has a quota?

Thanks for your answer Zenju. It shows the actual available space on that disk. It's an external one, which is also a media disk (SLNA) connected directly to a router.
