Feature Request - Allow set version to be kept only

I use 2 external HD at back up to. But would like to keep the last 3 versions on each just in case.

This topic has been discussed extensively here quite some time ago, and has resulted in the present functionality since FFS version 6.1.
FFS (directly) supports retaining either a single previous version (Versioning Naming Convention: replace) or an unlimited number of previous versions (Versioning Naming Convention: Time stamp).
By adding macro's you can customize some of the functionality, but it likely does not bring what you aim to achieve.
You might be able to write a script (bat, shell, vbs, ... -script) to achieve exactly what you want.
