FreeFileSync on Synology NAS?

Is there anybody who has tried and successfully managed to run FreeFileSync on a Synology Diskstation NAS? The reason why this might be interesing is that for some large transfers via USBShare (e.g. music collections or videos) it may be much quicker to sync directly from USB3 on the NAS rather than WebDAV. Would be interested to hear of any such attempts. Thanks
