OpenSuse 42.2: Error running FreeFileSync GLIBCXX_3.4.22 not found

Hi All

Can you assist in resolving this issue:
"./FreeFileSync: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.22' not found (required by ./FreeFileSync)"

I've tried and found version 8.2 working. Any version higher than 8.2 and it fails with above error.
Can you provide more info on how to resolve this issue?

libstdc++6-5.3.1+r233831-7.1.x86_64

OS is up2date with patches.

Unfortunately the compiler of Leap is too old to compile FFS. Currently FFS can only be built on Tumbleweed.
