HELP! FFS 9.0 installation crashes on Windows Vista

I've been successfully using several previous versions of FFS on my Windows Vista SP 2 (x86) machine. For some reason, though, the installation of the new 9.0 version crashes on this machine.

My Windows language version is finnish (hence the Locale ID 1035) - I only translated these lines so you could read them more easily :).

Too bad I've already uninstalled the previous version, so I'm now completely without a functioning backup solution. Please help! I truly hope this is not because MS no longer supports Vista...! If this is the case, could you please make the latest pre-9.0 version available (8.10 it was, I think?) so that I could install that instead...?
