Hello to everyone,

I'm new to this forum. I have used FreeFileSync for a while and I am very pleased with its functionality, congratulations to the developers. I have encountered a problem, probably not a bug, that maybe someone knows a workaround or where is my mistake.

I have 3 partitions on my PC: one for Linux, another for Windows and another for data (NTFS). I want to sync a folder on the data partition, that is accessible from both operating systems, with a pen drive. I have installed FreeFileSync 9.0 on both operating systems. Every time I change the OS and try to sync (bidirectionally), it copies the whole content not only the changes (even if I do not change anything). Anyone can help me to set it correctly? It would be awesome to have this working, I have to use both operating systems and would like to sync with my pen drive from both.

Thanks in advance.

The problem is likely different daylight saving time or time zone settings of the OSs and the fact that your pen drive's file system stores local instead of UTC time: https://freefilesync.org/manual.php?topic=daylight-saving-time

Hello Zenju,

Thanks for the tip. That solved the problem, I was using FreeFileSync between Linux OS before and did not know about this problem. Thanks a lot!
