Hi,
today I´ve one question:
RealtimeSync - not for SFTP, please take a look at the attached file.
Isn´t it possible to use SFTP with RealTimeSync ?
Thanks for answers.

This error message seems to be a common source of confusion. Still looking for an improvement of the message.
So let's take the opportunity and ask a few question:
1. What do you think the message means?
2. And what do you think are the consequences of that?
3. What do you want to achieve, that the error message prevents you from doing?

Hi Zenju,
I want to sync a local target with my sftp server. Then I get the message.
Sorry I don´t quite understand what you mean :)

RealTimeSync needs to monitor its source and target directories to operate, so if "The SFTP protocol does not support directory monitoring" its job can't be done.

@Zenju: couldn't you implement a function that realtimesync just triggers the batch job every xxx interval? (just for SFTP stuff)

You might just as well set up Windows Task Scheduler to start sync repeatedly.@Zenju: couldn't you implement a function that realtimesync just triggers the batch job every xxx interval? (just for SFTP stuff) randomUser, 07 Feb 2018, 09:04
