Error code 31 with FFS 6.15 (thought this was solved)

Hello

We face the sporadic appearance of below showstopper in our acceptance tests:

FreeFileSync - An exception occurred

Cannot get process information

Error Code 31: A device attached to the system is not functioning.
(QueryFullProcessImageName)

Can you please advice on the approach to troubleshoot this?

What operating system are you using? Did you also test with the new FFS 7.0?

W8.1 pro (64). We'll try the new version and keep you posted.

Or better yet, test with the current beta version:

The error still appears approx. every one out of three times. It's a virtual machine on Hyper-V, if that would make a difference. Screenshot attached.
