Ordering of transfer

dear FreeFileSync forum,

is there a way to set the order of syncing the files? Even I sort it by name or size, FreeFileSync ignores that. It would be useful if I want to syncronize big amount of data, but first it should begin with the smallest files (texts, images, etc)

I can't test this now, but try to set two identical folder pairs then in the first add a local filter with File size Maximum 3 MB.

The sync order is somewhat elaborated when it comes to detail. But in general it minimizes peak memory requirements by taking precedence of delete operations before creations and overwriting of large files by smaller files before the converse.
