Hello,
I have a basic usage question; hopefully should be pretty easy to answer. Haven't installed the software yet, just trying to find out if it will work for me.
My goal is to sync specific folders between two computers (folders are located on the c: drive of each computer), and each computer is on the same wi-fi network. The catch is, I have administrative rights on one computer only (my personal computer). The other is my work computer and I do not have admin rights to install software. So my question is: Must FreeFileSync be installed on each computer or can it be installed on ONE computer only that controls the syncing process for both? If it *is* possible to use this with FFS installed only on my personal computer, will I need to enable file sharing on the work computer to perform the sync over wi-fi?
My personal PC is Win 10, the work PC is Win 7.
Thank you for your insights and help,
Rob

FreeFileSync (FFS) only needs to be installed on 1 computer.
Obviously the computer on which FFS is installed and running
should have at least read- and (depending on the type of sync and your useage)
write-access to the folders and files of the sync location(s) on the computer
you want to sync with.
