Hi,
Im a fan of ffs and I've been using it for a while now. Still, I've noticed couple of problems. One below:
I have created a batch job, it syncs several folders to several different locations. There is one particular folder which I dont want to sync. I have put that folder to the exclude list, but still, my batch sync wants to check that folder. Some target locations have different synchronise styles, but they dont have local filters, so I believe master filter would be applicaple.
Any ideas? I use ffs for my companies back ups, and this problem will ultimately end ffs usage for me, if it cannot be fixed. With settings checked, I've always saved a new batch job with these new settings (with exclude rules), but still running that sync job will also sync that particular folder which I tried to skip.

Exclude doesn't work?

To exclude a folder that is at a unknown level deep, use this syntax:
*\Folder to exclude\
Note the leading star.
Use it in the local filter.
*\Folder to exclude\
Note the leading star.
Use it in the local filter.

Okay, thanks Gianni1962. I will give that a shot and tell what happened. Cheers!

Update - the suggestion didn't work. It's a possibility I did something wrong. I put exclude rule to the local filters, but still ffs tries to update and sync items inside this particular folder.

If anyone could help me, I would appreciate it. The problem is, that this particular folder and its subfolders (and subfolders of them) includes so many xml files which I dont need, syncing them just takes too much time for my backup to complete.

The correct syntax is:
*\2nd Chain SKJ liittima\
*\2nd Chain SKJ liittima\

It seems to work, I think! If, I would like to only exclude one particular subfolder, and include everything else from now wholly excluded main folder, how ffs would work if it finds another subfolder from somewhere else with the same folder-name?
For example, if I only want to exclude one /shipments/ subfolder, from one particular main folder, and somewhere else in the backup directories can be found another /shipments/ folder which I want to include, how it does work then? As it seems I must only put the single folder to path rule, how can I be specific which /shipments/ folder is to be excluded? I really appreciate your help.

Looking at your posted image, the left part of the folder pair in question seems to be D:\WinSKJ\
You should use the relative folder:
Tools\2nd Chain SKJ liittima\
