I try to use FFS for the first time!
After compare and editing some actions (all actions with differences are set to: 'update right item') I press 'Synchronize' - then FFS says it will delete my whole backup ??? - See attachment.
Have I misinterpreted the message or have I overlooked some settings..?
FFS will delete my existing backup

Updating means "delete + copy" and Recycle Bin is not available for the "delete" part. Suggestions on how to improve the wording?

So "delete+copy" means delete in right folder and copy (replace) from left folder ?
If 'yes' you should use the text:
"Old versions of replaced files in left folder(s) will be deleted permanently (not moved to the Recycle bin)"

What about:
The recycle bin is not available for the following folders. Deleted or updated old files will not be able to be restored:
Is the last part proper English?

I would not use the term: "The recycle bin is not available for the following folders." - this sounds like I have a problem with my recycle bin.
I think this text would be appropriate:
"All files to the left, which are replaced by a newer version, will be deleted permanently (not put into the recycle bin)."
BTW: Thank you for your quick respons :-)
