When I select the comparison method as file time and size then I can successfully synchronize locked files (copy locked files is enabled). When I change the comparison method to file content then the comparison fails indicating the file is locked by another process. I am running FreeFileSync as an Administrator on Windows Server 2008R2.
I think the comparison phase needs to use VSS, at least on files it finds are locked.
