I'm new to this so it's probably me. I am trying to sync 2 folders, E:\Photos\LS and G:\Photos\LS for instance. Just 6 files out of 105 are listed in the folder on E: and 83 out of 182 files on the folder on H:. A few of the "missing" files are .xmp files ('rider' files added by Photoshop CS6), but the rest are perfectly 'normal' .jpg, .bmp & .psd files.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you,
David

Which FreeFileSync version are you using? Have you checked the filter and/or created a new configuration for this test?

The version is 7.2 (build July 1 2015 Uncode x64). I have not created any filter or changed the default configuration in any way. In the fliters pane:
Included is just *
Exclude is: \System Volume Information\
\$Recycle.Bin\
\RECYCLER\
\RECYCLED\
*\desktop.ini
*\thumbs.db
Windows Explorer shjows 160 files. The same folder in FreeFileSync shows 62.

Can you post your FFS configuration (.ffs_gui) as well as screenshots from FFS and explorer to demonstrate the problem?
