I've searched this forum before posting and not seeing much except maybe copying the contents of my drive to a new folder before trying to synch. Really should not be this difficult to do a simple drive copy. I'm on a new install of Win10 & FileSync.
First error was #5 not able to lock/write to the drive.
I am on an admin user account, but went ahead and gave write permission to 'users' on entire drive. That got past the first error, but then had the same error 5 on MANY individual files in the drive.
So...
I decided to try and copy (making a backup) of my primary folders and not the entire drive.
This time, error:
Cannot read permission of 'file path'.
Cannot set privilege "SeSecurityPrivilege"
Error 740 requires elevation [Adjust Token Privilege]
So at this point I'm giving up.
Yes, I'm on a administrator account.
Should not be this difficult.
Not able to use.
