Hello, i'm a new user of ffs coming from synctoy, and i'm trying to understand what features are different.
I have a question about the tree overview panel in the bottom left :
in synctoy, for each folder pair, there was an option to view the trees where you could check which folders you wanted synced or not, you could view both trees of left and right folders and open\collapse them, then the folders you unchecked would still stay visible in the tree and the next time you'd open it would remember that they were unchecked.
On ffs however, there are various differences :
first of all i can only see the tree of the left folder, it's a bit confusing as i was used to comparing the trees.
Then, to "uncheck" (as in, do not sync this folder) i can either alt+down or exclude via filter but :
if i alt+down, the folder stays visible, but the action is not remembered in the next run (i'd have to alt+down again every time i sync) ;
if i exclude via filter, it is remembered, but the folder disappears from the tree to stay in the filter list, but this can lead to me forgetting the folder existed altogether, i'd still like the full tree see even if some folder are getting excluded.
And lastly, after i ran a test sync, i noticed that the folders that got synced were removed from the tree overview and only folders that didn't get synced (and are not in the exclude filter) appeared.
Honestly the fact that i can't check the folder structures has made me put a hold on using the program, but i do see that in the performance side it's clearly superior to synctoy.
Are there any settings that satisfy my needs? I just want an overview of the full tree and a signal (like check\uncheck in synctoy) that i'm syncing or not that folder.
Thanks for the help

I have exactly the same question. Is there any way to show all of the source folders for a selected job in the tree overview even after the first run? I already now that if you click on the 'Show files that are equal' button, the most folder will be visible, but not those which was deselected (excluded) before. All deselected (excluded) folders and files can be seen only in the list when click on the 'Filter' button. I miss the visual possibility to see the jobs folder (selected-excluded) configuration in the tree overview and make changes if needed. It feels essential.
