When I try to copy files from Windows to my Android 8.1 phone's internal storage, the file's "date modified" metadata cannot be migrated over properly. Instead, the "date modified" of the file on Android's storage becomes the time when the file is transferred. Below shows the error message:
PortableDeviceProperties::SetValues failed for WPD_OBJECT_DATE_MODIFIED.
HRESULT: 0x80070005, Access is denied.
Someone in this other post mentioned this issue might be fixed in Android 8.
Is there anything I can do to fix this issue, or is it an Android issue or even related to MTP?
