2 equal syncs, one database?

I am learning about how FFS and must comment that it is better than any other solution I have tried.
I back up to two external USB drives, using Mirror. Because the same data is being backed up, the folder pairs used will be the same for each backup. I notice that the database sync.ffs_db is created at the base of the folder on the source.
My question is, will FFS be able to use the same database for each of the 2 hard drive backups?
