Are there less features in v10 compared to v9.9?

I saw the version has changed. If I upgrade to v10 (free edition), do I lose functionality? Or is v10 (free edition) better / as good as v9.9 (free edition)?

Where did you read this? Version 10 just removed the ads in the installer. If you are referring to the Donation Edition, it's existing for more than two years already.
