macOS: Donate version not loading

I bought the Donate Version for macOS (10.12.6) and installed it. However, it does not run when I start it. Activity Monitor shows two instances of FreeFileSync running, with 0.1% CPU utilization each. Running /Applications/FreeFileSync.app/Contents/MacOS/FreeFileSync from the command line produce no further output. The non-donate version was running fine until I installed the Donate Version.

This is weird. No error indication on command line even when you restart the system? I assume you're on FFS 10.1. Is there a difference compared to the non-Donation edition?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am on FFS 10.1 and after a restart, the Donation Edition started working.

Just to be sure, there is nothing I need to do to enable the Parallel file copy feature?

You need to set the number of parallel file operations pers device (see comparison settings), to be used for comparison (including binary-comparison) and sync.
