Hi,
Starting in 10.2, Google Drive File Stream folder can no longer be synced. This worked in 10.1 .

Cool, it was an incompletely-implemented file system, just as expected.

I'm getting the following errors on Version 10.8 of FFS
Cannot read file attributes of "gdrive:/mydirectory/myfile.GED".

Cannot find "gdrive:/mydirectory/myfile.GED". The name "myfile.GED" is used by more than one item in the folder.

Thanks

Is anything unclear about the error message?

The message is clear but as to why I’m getting is not clear. I can down load the file from Google drive. I can copy the file on my Mac from the drive folder. There are no other files by that exact name there are files with the same name with a 1 after the name. I’ve tried using free file sync on both windows 10 and Mac both have the same error. Since I can copy the file I’m confused as to why free file sync is not able to. It seems Free fulesync is checking some attribute that the OS does not or if the OS does they are handling them with out errors. I have not tried it on Linux yet. These files are shared from another account. I thought that might be causing the error but logging in to the other account and trying the sync from the other account made no difference. I haven’t tried to sync a folder that has no Shares associated with it.
Thanks

According to the error message, there should be at least two items (file or folder) with the name "myfile.GED" (or other case) inside folder "/mydirectory", which makes the path ambiguous.
