MTP connection problem

I was using FFS to copy over images from the sd card from my camera, and it worked fantastic. Just recently I found out you can connect the camera to the computer through wifi. It connects just fine, but FFS doesn't seem to work with it. It results in this error when I try and compare the files:

> HRESULT: 0x80070057, The parameter is incorrect.

I've seen various help posts about this kind of problem with the modification time, but nothing I try seems to work. Is there a solution to this error? Thanks.

It seems that no modification times are returned, thous the error. Nevertheless FFS should not error out, but continue using an empty modification time instead. Here's an updated version:

Well, it now seems to compare just fine but syncing now has the same error. Are there any specific settings I need in place for this to work?

Not supporting file modification times is a limitation of the specific connection type used (wifi in this case). FreeFileSync could internally ignore this error and continue, but this probably doesn't make sense for a synchronization tool. So for these devices only mirror sync will work, from the device to some local disk.

Okay, that's actually what I have set, and it seems to produce the error even trying to copy the files. I'm guess it must be something to do specifically with the device I have, but I don't know.

Please try again with the updated beta. Mirror from an MTP device to a local disk should work now even if mod times are missing:
