Support for Restartable Mode Transfers When Syncing to an FTP Server

Just wondering if you can add support for restartable mode transfers when syncing to an FTP server. Currently in the event of a time out or packet drop the transfer will fail requiring the transfer to restart from the beginning of a file. when syncing large files over a couple megabytes over a less than stable network restartable mode transfers are necessary to prevent wasted time and bandwidth
