When I do a backup, I tend to make multiple "redundant" copies. The problem is that after they have sync'd, Windows shows different amounts of files in each location. The original is showing 8,360 files in 172 folders, while the two backups are showing 8,218 files and 8,212 files respectively. I would attach a screenshot if I knew I could find a simple website that would let me use the BBCode.
So there is 142-148 files missing, according to Windows Property queries.
Could this be due to hidden system files hiding in these folders? If so, how can I check?
When I look into these folders after sync'ing, I see the correct files, even the correct quantities. It is only when I do a "properties" query in Windows that I get this discrepancy.
Why is this? Any thoughts?
