Reduce copy speed in network

I often need to mirror a big folder from a server to my local desktop computer for backup purpose. Speed does not matter, but if I do it while others work, I would slow down the network for my colleagues. Is it possible to reduce the speed? Maybe only in a special time? During the night it could take full speed, but while others work, the speed could be reduced by timetable. E.g. programs like FileZilla have an option to reduce the download speed over the internet.

RunWithBackgroundPriority might help. To change between day and night handling, probably you'll need to play with WindowsScheduler, as the param is set in GlobalSettings.xml.
