Can't set filters when using very long folder paths

I have FFS configurations with very long folder paths. In FFS version 10.8 the "Confuration Settings" dialog shows the full path of the left folder in each folder pair, in the column "Folder pair" on the left side of the dialog. In my case these paths are very long and occupy approx. 85% of the screen width. This makes the essential part of the dialog (on the right) very slim and almost unusable - especially the "Filter" tab.

Do you have a screenshot? FFS usually shows a relative path there, corresponding to the common fraction of left and right full paths.

Hmmm, maybe the problem is that in this case I am using the "Variable Drive Letters" feature. And, on top of that, the [Yellow] volume currently is not mounted!

Yes, that was the problem. I've improved the parsing accordingly:
