I am just doing a very very simple file sync comparison.
From the photos, both folders contents ARE identical and the path is correct but I still get this error.
- I am on new OSX 10.14.4 and newest FreeFileSync.
- I don't think it has to do with Firewire as USB still doesn't work (2 connections on my external drive).
- I tried to rename the folders and it still doesn't work.
- I tried to make both subfolders the same name and it still have the same error.
** It feels like it's trying to sync the whole Volume even though I selected the specific folder.

You might want to try the folder picker (Browse) for selection.

I did use the folder picker.
At the end, I was able to get it to sync by creating 2 subfolders.
/Volumes/2TB FW/2TBBackup/Files/
/Volumes/4TB Seagate/2TBBackup/Files
Once I do rename and add the two folders "2TBBackup/Files" as above then it works.
