I need to slow down how fast it is trying to transfer files because only smaller files are working over fileshares through a VPN to work site.
on Windows 7, Sonicwall Global VPN Client

I'll say that I have found the reason it couldn't keep working with large files. It works using Ethernet but this particular WiFi kept losing data intermittently so I would not need a throttle for this problem.
Just that I still think some kind of throttle would be neat in some cases. I do like what we have so far especially in the donation edition, so I won't complain thanks!

You may try running FFS with background priority
