Mac to Samba Share

I’ve set up a sync from a Mac to a Samba share on a NAS

The sync starts but locks after about 2 minutes. I think the Mac drops the connection to the share.

I have to force FFS to quit.

I have tried disabling SMB2 and forcing SMB1 - no improvement

I can copy the files using Finder with no problem.

I realise this is probably a Mac problem rather than FFS but I’m hoping somebody here might have some ideas?
