My update to 10.12 donation edition failed. The error message says uninst000.exe failed to rename. There is no such file in the destination directory. I tried uninstalling the program. That didn't work. I deleted all the filesync files and directories I could find under "programs." Still same error message. See attached.

This seems to be caused by some anti virus software on your system. E.g. Bitdefender is known to cause this: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/159164-an-error-occurred-while-trying-to-rename-a-file-in-the-destination-directory-movefile-failed-code-5-access-is-denied/

Got info via email today that Bitdefender has fixed whatever it was that caused their false-positive detection of FFS 10.12:
Quick update, Bitdefender have confirmed the issue and have implemented a fix to be released in an update today.
