Backup/Sync from a samba/SMB mapped drive to External Hard Drive

Hi all,

Could anyone kindly confirm whether FreeFileSync allows backup sync from a samba/SMB mapped drive to a external hard drive on a Windows machine (FreeDileSync would run from Windows)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It supports SMB shares so shouldn't be an issue. You could try it for free risk-free

Great, before setting this up just wanted to confirm that a Samba drive can be the actual source folder
