So I'm running FFS 10.14 and discovered this sync.ffs_db thing that others have discovered in the past.
I've searched the forums and found that the answer is to not use 'automatic' mode.
However, I have no idea what that means. I don't see anything in the program that says "automatic". I've switched to the "custom" mode (please see screenshot attached) and it still generates a sync.ffs_db. Could you help explain what the current way to avoid sync.ffs_db is?
As a follow up, can i still schedule it as a batch process that runs on a schedule?
Thanks!

If you don't want the *.ffs_db files, uncheck the "Detect moved files" tick-box.
See the Manual page on Detect moved files.
