Problems with initial sync between PCs

I'm using FreeFileSync for the first time between 2 PCs, and the FreeFileSync Compare function told me there was 6Gb requiring sync, which was reasonable. I performed the Sync, but after a couple of hours, with the progress window showing progress, I returned to find it had completed with errors. Doing another Compare, the full 6Gb was still showing as requiring sync. I decided that maybe 6Gb was a bit much so have manually copied the majority of files across the PCs and then did another Compare. This time the window showed only 1.9Gb to be synced and gave details of each file. However, many of the files are shown as not present on the destination PC, yet in Windows Explorer they are clearly there with the same date stamp.
Any ideas?

Ok, a bit more information. For the majority of the files I get the message:
Cannot read permissions of 'D:\Malcolm\Documents\change in my life verse with voice accomp.pdf'.
Cannot set privilege "SeSecurityPrivilege".
Error Code 1300: Not all privileges or groups referenced are assigned to the caller. (AdjustTokenPrivileges)
Does this help? I am logged in with admin rights. How can I fix this?

Forget it, fixed myself by doing more searches. Had to uncheck the NTFS permissions box, now works fine.

The default Win32 error message is really misleading. I've patched this to let FFS show ERROR_ELEVATION_REQUIRED instead which is what the real problem is: "The requested operation requires elevation."
