Cron initiated Batch run suddenly stopped.

I run a batch backup every day at 00:05am. It has run perfectly for some time until yesterday when it just did not run. I opened up the GUI and was met with an "upgrade available" message. Is it possible that this message is still triggered during batch runs? I turned off the "check automatically (for updates)" option and it ran ok again last night. There was nothing in the FFS log either.

It might just be a coincidence but nothing else on the system has changed.

The update checks are off in batch mode.

I assumed that they would be and was clutching at straws. It is still working ok. Strange for sure.
