I downloaded I followed the guide to setup RTS as a window service. I started
the service and everything worked fine but it only run once. The service never
executed RTS when I updated source folders. I restarted the service then it
worked again but not on the next updates on source folders.

Any idea what I'm missing here? Thanks in advance for your help.

I would first try to test RTS without setting up a service. If you find, this
is working as expected, only then setup the service. For trouble-shooting it
is a good idea to enable checkbox ""Allow service to interact with desktop" in
the Service properties. This way you will see if a popup dialog stops the
progress.
Generally, if you are on a single-user machine, it is a better idea to simply
put a link to RTS into autostart than to setup a service.

Hi,

I am also facing a similar problem, and I have tested it with RTS without
setting up a service and it works fine, however it does not work seamlessly as
a service. If I restart it runs once and agains stops synchronizing. No window
is popped up and no error is logged and the service is not stopped. I can
notice that RealTimeSync_win32.exe is not running after the service is
restarted and the synchronization is completed once. Free

What could be the possible problem? Awaiting your help and advice, Thanks !

In the helpfile for the next version I won't be recommending the "service"
solution fo RTS anymore. It creates way too many problems, and there seems to
be another, simpler solution: Just use Windows Task planner with the SYSTEM
account:
