First of all I have to say Congratz for developing and mantaining an easy to
use File Sync Software.

I have an SBS 2008 with a public share, which is used by 2 Windows 7 64-bit
Clients and a Windows Vista Client. Each of them is configured to sync one
directory to ther local harddrives. During the syncing process the error
Message "database could not be read. (zlib errror)" (paraphrasing from german)
pops up. I have uploaded the database files before and after the message pops
up.

Database files:

Which version of FFS are you using? Can you further describe the error
message: Was it a single generic popup or did you get two popups? Do you have
a screenshot?

> Database files:
Database files always come in pairs, I'll need all four to analyze.

Thanks for your files! I expected a database corruption, but in fact found a
bug in FFS due to zlib being a little peculiar about empty streams. The
conditions to trigger it are very specific, so I'm glad you found them! :)

Reproduce: Start with two empty source and target folders. Create one test
folder in one of them. Sync in automatic mode. Create a new file in either
source or target. Compare again => error

I've fixed it in the new version:
[404, Invalid URL: http://freefilesync.sourceforge.net/FreeFileSync_5.7_beta_setup.exe]

Your special database files located in subfolder "Test3" won't be compatible
with this new version, but at least the problem won't occur again with newly
created databases.
