Ever since upgrading to v11 I've had repeated problems with the compare button in FFS. I have two identical drives in a USB enclosure that I keep synced using this software. It doesn't happen every time and there seems to be no way to predict when it will occur.
When the bug happens, upon hitting the compare button, the software will freeze and the two volumes will appear to lose all partition information in Windows, which will then see them as RAW partitions and be unable to access them. The Windows chkdsk utility is sometimes able to save them, but I've already had one total loss of both 4TB volumes and now have had another loss of one volume, which is currently rebuilding at the moment.
Has anyone else seen this issue before? This problem only seems to happen upon using the Compare function. The actual file copying appears to run without any issues, as does any native Windows Explorer based file management. Any advice would be appreciated. It's getting to be extremely time consuming having to rebuild a mirror or try to save corrupted disks.

I also came across the fact that after the FFS program, the disk from NTFS format turned into RAW.

To be clear the, the issue never happened with versions prior to 11?Ever since upgrading to v11
And if you revert to an earlier version, it continues to work correctly?
Compare, for the most part, would be a read-only operation (with some ancillary writes of lock files...), is that correct?

What brand, type? What drives? File system? Connection? Single disks, JBOD, RAID? ...
@skyter, there were some points brought up that were never replied to?
