I am syncing files into a crypted dropbox folder.
I use Boxcryptor - but I guess that this does not matter.
By default "Fail-safe file copy" is checked (and recommended).
From time to time I get a message that the temp file "*.*.ffs_tmp" cannot be moved to "*.*"
This happens to normal files but also to the database itself (*.ffs_db)
So the direction of syncing does not matter.
Is there a way to set an automatic retry or to increase the number of tries? (globally or by job)

You mean the "Automatic retry" checkbox?
But it is on the "Comparison" tab - not on the "Synchronisation" one.

I see what you are saying... I've never considered that, but I believe that setting applies to both compare and sync. I guess Zenju would have to chime in or just try it and report back!

Yes, the auto-retry setting covers both comparison and sync.I've never considered that, but I believe that setting applies to both compare and sync. xCSxXenon, 27 Oct 2020, 14:20

It works.
Thanks to clarify that it covers both.
