I need to connect to a filesystem on a Windows Server (2008R2) from anotherWindows Server (2008R2).
I would like to not use an IIS FTP server or file sharing. How can I create to the destination link to put in the destination dropdown of FreeFileSync? Thanks in advance.

Share the folder and use UNC File Paths

Thanks, that works, but somehow my predecessor (not available) was able to synch files without the standard windows folder or file shares. The source server is lost, but the destination server is still live. Not trace of how he did it. Thanks for your response.

Its possible Logon Credentials for the source server expired or were removed from Windows, you can also IP Addresses - FFS should ask for the credential's to access the network locations the first time you try and sync
