Good evening.

For about 2 weeks, FreeFileSync has been used to synchronize the SSD of the PC (Windows) with the NAS (Synology DS216e).
The trash on the NAS (drive N) is enabled.
Still, you get the message: "Recycle Bin not supported in N: \ Pictures".
Screenshots are included.
Tried to fix it through settings in FreeFileSync, but it didn't work.
Can a solution be provided?

Mvg, RK.

For your "Hoofdmap" you seem to have enabled the NAS Recycle-bin (Prullenbak), in which you should be able to find any files deleted from "Hoofdmap".
Note: depending on how you configured your NAS Recycle-bin, only a (NAS) Admin account may have access to your NAS Recycle-bin.

The recycle bin is enabled in the root folder, such that admin (system default user) and user (me) have access. See Attachment.

The NAS setting you show only illustrates that also non-admin NAS users (with access to the Hoofdmap-share) are able to see the Recycle-bin of Hoofdmap.
The link I provided earlier is a direct answer to your initial question.
