I am getting an activation failure due to usage limit reached - but how can I deactivate? On the website I have already pressed the "remove" button - but it still doesn't let me install. I am seeing a message saying "Devices marked as obsolete are removed automatically after 30 days." - does this mean I am locked out for 30 days?
I don't know which machines these are and as I I have to reinstall windows many times as a part of what I do - many times I don't have an option to uninstall before I can clean wipe the machine.
What do I do now? I see so many posting/complaints about activation failure - I feel like why deal with the pain after donating and just use the free version - completely unnecessary friction for paid customers.
How to deactivate old installations not accessible? trying to address activation failure due to usage limit reached.

Well, reinstalling Windows that often is not normal... You could always keep a portable copy on a USB drive as they don't count as installs when running from removable media. You may actually be better off using the free version in your use case
