I have 2 machines (different systems) & want to do 2 way synchronization on some files that are on each machines desktop. I can do this with 2-way synchronization, but it always creates a sync.ffs_db on the desktop. I would like to have control over where they are kept.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance.
Can I designate where sync.ffs_db are kept

It is created with the hidden flag. However, I have my folder options set to see hidden files. From the reply above, I'm satisfied that the file must be created in the source & target folders.could it maybe instead created with the hidden flag when created during sync? mditsch, 29 Nov 2020, 10:28

Yes. And I didn't modify any of the Tools/Options.
