Google File Stream Sync

Hello,

I just installed FreeFileSync and it seems to be running great!

I've come across an oddity where if I'm synching a Google File Stream folder to a Windows share that RealTimeSync (RTS) does not detect a change in a file if the change is made on Google Drive. Example below.

Situation where synching works
- I created a Microsoft Word file in a Google File Stream folder.
- I edit the file using Microsoft Word.
- RTS synchs the file just fine.

Situation where synching doesn't work
- I created a Microsoft Word file in a Google File Stream folder.
- I edit the Microsoft Word file in Google Docs.
- Synching doesn't work in this case because a change is not detected. If using Windows Explorer to look at the Microsoft Word file properties, it clearly shows that an update was made. If some other operation is run that is detected by RTS, then the Word file gets updated just fine.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to why this may be happening and how the issue can be fixed?

Thanks!
Tosh

Thanks, xCSxXenon. We have enough activity on Drive that this won't be an issue but I'll keep my fingers crossed that someday this will be resolved.

Cheers,
Tosh
