First, thanks for the great software.
Since I started using it a week or so ago, I've been looking at how I can secure the contents of the external HDD I'm currently mirroring with my internal one.
I've done a few searches on the forum and can see there are various mentions of encryption, and I'm aware that FFS does not offer this as a built-in feature, which is fine.
I am just wondering how others have achieved some kind of encryption and what tools they have used to do this. I am assuming that this will be some kind of file-level encryption so that FFS can still access the external disk, and that some extra third-party software will be required. Various posts here mention TrueCrypt, which is no longer going, so I am just trying to get an idea of how others are achieving this today.
I am using macOS. Thanks in advance.
