I'm new to FFS using W10 OS. Previous SyncToy user with W7 OS. Spent a couple days figuring out operation. Powerful for sure. I finally have 2 BatchRuns working and saved to Desktop AND configured the two operations in Windows Task Scheduler. All working perfectly after hours figuring it all out.

Now I donated and have the Donation version BUT have not installed it yet. I'm afraid i'll lose all my past work. Should I install this or not? Will I lose what I've already set on the PC? If okay to install, just install as it and it will overwrite the previous install? Thank you.

If you have saved your different sync configurations as *.ffs_gui or *.ffs_batch files, you should be OK.
I suppose that an update to the sponsored version will also retain your previous GlobalSettings.xml file if you made changes to that. (It does retain settings when updating FFS versions). But you can make a copy, just to make sure
Also the invocation from the Task Scheduler should not change.

There is no difference compared to installing the standard version.
