RealTimeSync on Windows 10 problem

I have a RealTImeSync job which is running every 120 seconds to sync two folders - on the local and usb 2.0 thumb drive. It works just fine, but when I use my audio editing program (Pro tools) the audio drops out and the program returns an error about slow system response. Lowering the priority of RealTimeSync to low sometimes helps. However, on the same machine in Mac OS X everything is fine. I wonder if there is a way to fix this.

RTS doesn't sync on a set schedule or period.
