Noticed it yesterday

Created a batchjob and automated it with automator.

Created it with version FFS 11.4 on december 30 th and worked fine untill yesterday. No errors.

Mac OS Big Sur 11.1

I just checked the batchjob at a friend of mine, where I also installed FFS on an I Mac. He has not installed the update to FFS 11.5 and it still works fine. I'm going to uninstall FFS 11.5 and reinstall FFS 11.4

How do you know it is only running a compare? What are the parameters/command you told Automator to run?

I noticed it when I added a file to my NAS share which was not copied to my external drive. I run the batch from inside FFS and noticed that FFS only compared and not synchronised. Worked okee before upgrade. I downgraded to FFS 11.4 and the batch runs ok. Now I use the batch with realtime sync, works better for me

What do you mean it only compared when you ran it manually? If you click sync, it it only compares?
Glad you got something working but that is strange

First English is not my native language. When I run a saved batch file from within FFS 11.5 is shows the result of the compare, but it doesn't synchronise it. I created the batchfile and the automation with FFS 11.4 and tested it before I planned a weekly backup. After I upgraded to FFS 11.5 I noticed that files were not automatically created on the target destination. After I removed FFS 11.5 and installed FFS 11.4 I tried it again but also noticed the RealtimeSync option. First I thought this was an different program but now I am running it continuous because my I Mac has enough memory and a very fast processor.

Yeah, RTS comes with FFS and is very useful! Running the batch file manually, from within FFS, clicking "synchronize" will run the compare then perform the operations. It sounds like you may be clicking "compare" and it doesn't do anything after comparing in that case.
