Hi,
Need help. I have run App in 'Administrator Mode' and when I tried to sync the files between 2 folders within the Dropbox Main folder (in Windows 10), I am shown Error_Access_Denied. Anything that I have not done or have done wrong? TIA to the Gurus out there.
a. Windows 10 environment
b. 2 folders are within the dropbox main folder

The "CreateFile" warnings and "Access is denied" errors strongly suggest that the user, under which credentials you run the sync, has at least no write-access to the mentioned locations.
An Admin-account does not automatically have access to the C:\Users\tianh folder or any of its subfolders.

Hello, I'm having the same issue as well. I've been using this sync program for years, and have been syncing to the same computer. All of a sudden I'm getting the same error message.

Wonder if the API changed?
Could someone experiencing the problem try an older version of FFS? Did either of you update recently?

Mine is the latest version as I am a new user.
Interesting thing is that I have exactly setup the same folders to be synced (both sub-folders in dropbox) in a Mac environment with the latest OS. The Mac one works perfectly but the windows 10 one generated the permission error.
Imancha : Can I verify both of your folders are in a dropbox setup? Not quite sure whether it is the dropbox app that created permission issue.

Mac may have organized the access rights for Administrators differently from Windows.

Tian, sorry if I've misunderstood, but I don't use dropbox with this at all. Can you clarify if I've misunderstood.
