I've been using the program to my great satisfaction for a few weeks now.
So I decided to make a donation.
After payment, I immediately see a button for "extending" my donator edition license.
I read back carefully what the site says about donations to see if I've missed something. I only find out about these limitations buried in the FAQ section, nowhere leading up to making a payment from the main page.
Look, I do not mind the donator edition license perks being time limited, but please, make it clear before people donate.
If I've missed something obvious I apologize in advance, but this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth.
Underhanded donation tactics?

You missed this button (including the mouse-hover effect):

Just my input, I had no misconceptions on what was offered and how it would be implemented.

True, I did not see that the button would lead to a link with further details. You missed this button (including the mouse-hover effect):button.PNG Zenju, 09 Feb 2021, 18:37
It does not say "limited time" anywhere directly, which is my issue.
I've only seen these limitation when I reviewed the FAQ after the fact.
I would suggest including that information upfront on that donation box page for transparency.

Also, almost all features are unlimited. The only two that gets pulled is the auto-updating and email notifications
