Hi,

I'd like to check whether the files in the 'left' base folder (including its subfolders) exist in the 'right' base folder or any of its subfolders at all. It should not matter whether a file is in a same-named folder/subfolder on both sides.

Is there a possibility to make such a comparison? Which settings or filters are necessary?

As far as I experienced a file is only recognized as identical if it is located in the same-named folder/subfolder on both sides.

(I use a donation version)

Thanks in advance for your help!

I get what you are trying to do but I don't think its something that can be done with FFS.

Synchronized folder, one way or both ways, are expected to contain the same files located at the same path.

What you might want to look for is a duplicate detector like dupeGuru?
